Craftsman’s Choice Is Minnesota’s Exterior Remodeling Design Leader
Ultimately, of course, you’ll be the one to choose the color that’s right for your house. But our design team will give you as much guidance and as many ideas as you need.
Selecting colors (body color, trim color and any accent colors) is one of the first decisions you’ll make in your re-siding project. Until that part of the process is complete, your job won’t progress towards installation.
Most people don’t know for certain what color they want at this stage in the process, so don’t be intimidated if you’re considering new siding but are stuck on colors.
We have a reference list that’s 50 pages long! We list all of the components of each job in the book, including features and colors. You’ll be able to drive around the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas to see multiple examples of colors you might be considering.
It’s important to get this in-person look as colors in natural light can appear significantly different than they do on a screen or in a book. There’s no substitute for seeing it in the real world with your own eyes.
You’ll be able to find houses similar to yours or in neighborhoods of similar vintage to get a feel for and idea of what people in a similar position to yours did with their siding project.
Maybe you’ll even find a homeowner out shoveling snow or raking the leaves. They might be able to share their experience with Craftsman’s Choice and James Hardie siding.
Our design team can also do a rendering specific to your house. We’ll take a digital picture of your house. Then, using the Hover software, we’ll show you what the colors you’re considering would look like on your house.
We’ll also provide you with 12-foot sample boards, if needed, so that you can see different colors held up to your house.
And our website is an awesome resource for more ideas. See some examples of the house transformation Craftsman’s Choice is capable of delivering.
Color Your Dreams
Of all the components that go into a re-siding project, choosing the color is easily the most subjective. Different eyes are attracted to different looks. And sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming. Just remember, there are a lot of different ways that your house can look awesome.
When you choose Craftsman’s Choice, you’ll be working with designers that care about your lasting satisfaction. We’ll help throughout the process by showing you similar houses, providing renderings specific to your project and bringing samples to your house. By installation day, you’ll be excited about your color choice.
