Craftsman’s Choice was founded in 1998 by installers Ben Juncker and Matt Enfield, who set out to build a company rooted in craftsmanship and customer care. Starting as a four-person crew, we quickly earned a reputation for quality and reliability across the Twin Cities. As fiber cement siding entered the market, major builders and remodelers turned to us for expert installation, and in 2000 we became Minnesota’s original James Hardie Preferred Remodeler. To this day, no contractor in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area has more experience installing James Hardie siding than Craftsman’s Choice.
Over the past 25+ years, our company has grown from one crew to six full-time teams while staying true to the same values we started with. Led by experienced residential construction managers Steve Espeland and Phil Lafond, along with our window team leader Chris Nelson, we bring seasoned expertise to every project. From replacing drafty windows to full exterior transformations, our crews focus on delivering results that combine long-lasting durability with standout design.
