Craftsman’s Choice is a Minnesota-based siding and exterior remodeling contractor with decades of hands-on experience installing siding systems designed to perform in our climate. Co-founded in 1998 by Ben Juncker, Craftsman’s Choice quickly built a reputation for quality siding installation across the Twin Cities and became Minnesota’s first James Hardie Preferred Remodeler in 2000. Drawing from thousands of real-world projects, we authored The Minnesota Homeowner’s Guide to Exterior Siding to help homeowners understand what truly matters when choosing siding for their home.

The guide walks through today’s most common siding material options, explains how Minnesota’s weather affects long-term performance, and outlines what separates a quality siding installation from one that fails prematurely. While we are also one of the nation’s largest James Hardie installers, this book is intentionally product-agnostic—focused on education, durability, and making informed decisions.
