James Hardie Timberbark was the selection for the body of this project. This home in Forest Lake, MN underwent a major upgrade. The sharp exterior is a combination of James Hardie lap siding, James Hardie shingle shakes, James Hardie trim and GAF Timberline roofing. The team at Craftsman’s Choice worked their magic to make their north suburban home shine.
After hail damaged this 1995-built home, the homeowner decided to turn lemons into lemonade by upgrading their exterior finishes. The decision was made to remove the damaged vinyl siding and step up to James Hardie siding. These home owners chose James Hardie 7-inch Cedarmill siding in Timber Bark for the body of the home. James Hardie Timberbark siding was the perfect warm neutral to beautifully complement the existing stonework on the home’s façade. James Hardie Heritage panel shakes in Heathered Moss were chosen for a soft pop of color and texture on the front gables. The corner trim is also James Hardie in Navajo Beige.
The updates on this lovely home did not end there. Hail damage also meant needing a roof replacement along with their new siding. New GAF Timberline HD shingles were installed in Weathered Wood. Additionally, a new gable was installed over the garage in the form of a custom-built James Hardie decorative gable panel. The result of this Forest Lake restoration was a dramatic upgrade in durability and style. Bring on the hail!!
