The experts at Craftsman’s Choice transformed this 70’s era home in Chaska, MN. James Hardie siding, trim and cultured stone accents were used to achieve this stunning update.
Time, weather and woodpeckers had done a number on this home’s exterior. The owners of this Chaska, MN home needed an exterior solution that could stand up to these challenges. James Hardie siding offered the durability and smart design they needed. The team at Craftsman’s Choice provided the expertise.
The project began with the choice of James Hardie siding in a mix of styles to provide interest and break up the façade. Sheets of 4×8 James Hardie siding in Heathered Moss were installed with James Hardie trim boards in the same color to achieve a board and batten look on the garage gable. The body of the home features James Hardie 6- inch lap siding in both Heathered Moss and Mountain Sage. The darker shade of Mountain Sage nicely highlights the front bump out and base of the garage. The softer shade of Heathered Moss was the choice for the remainder of the body.
A variety of accents bring dimension and life to this Chaska refresh. James Hardie trim in Artic White on the windows, corners and garage add crisp definition. Cultured stone from Boulder Creek lend texture and color to the façade. The warm and earthy tones of the stonework complement the James Hardie Heathered Moss and Mountain Sage siding. PVC corbel brackets in the gables provide the finishing detail on this reinvigorated Chaska home.
