Ben Juncker is the co-founder and president of Craftsman’s Choice, an exterior remodeling company serving homeowners throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. He began his career as a siding installer and co-founded Craftsman’s Choice in 1998, giving him more than 25 years of firsthand experience with siding installation, exterior design, and residential remodeling. Craftsman’s Choice completed its first James Hardie project in 2000 and became Minnesota’s first James Hardie Preferred Remodeler that same year. Under Ben’s leadership, the company has grown into one of the nation’s leading James Hardie remodeling contractors while remaining independently owned by its original founders. Ben is the author of The Minnesota Homeowner’s Guide to Exterior Siding. His articles draw on thousands of completed exterior projects and focus on helping homeowners understand siding materials, installation practices, project costs, design choices, and the causes of premature siding failure. Craftsman’s Choice has earned the James Hardie President’s Club Award every year the award has been offered since 2015. Ben has also shared his exterior-remodeling experience through local media appearances, industry events, and the James Hardie Contractor Advisory Council.
Ben started his company in 1998 and they installed their first James Hardie job in 2000. Since that time Craftsman’s Choice has become one of the nation’s top James Hardie Remodelers. They have won James Hardie’s prestigious President’s Club award every year since it’s inception in 2015.
